Adding Scenery Using Vista Not logged in -   Reply

Hi.
I have just bought a new computer which runs Vista (Whoo Hoo)..I have
re-installed FS 2004 and I am now in the process of reinstalling the
addon scenery.
All seemed to be going well with scenery adding itself normally then
all of a sudden the scenery is not adding itself.
I was doing this via Settings - Scenery Library - Add Area. I find the
scenery in my Addon scenery folder. highlight it and click Add..It
shows up initially but when I restart FS2004 it has vanished !!
Any ideas gang?
Regards,
Pete (U.K.)

Gunter,I have a suspicion that a new computer with Vista already installed
may be OK. It is the upgrade from XP that seems to give the problems.
Certainly, in my own case that is why I went back to XP

Hi Quilly...
No This was brand new out of the box with Vista installed....
It didn't like many of my drivers...Printer, scanner etc., although
they are reasonably new, the company said that they are not providing
Vista drivers..
FS9 would not run in windowed mode either...
All in all the "Big F" and reinstallation of ?trusty? XP was the
solution for the time being. I can always reinstall vista when MS
decide that i have to !!

Regards,
Pete.
