There is. The procedure is a bit involved, you can find a good description on: flightsim.com I think you'll have to create a log-in account (free!) and navigate to the HOWTO or Tutorial section, there you must scroll through a mass of titles, but it really is there! If you are not familiar with the terminology that is described, I'd suggest downloading the FS SDK (Software Development Kit), specifically the Aircraft Container for your FS version, and study that.
