Any Combat FSX Add-ons? Not logged in -   Reply

Our Kiwi (see it here: http://www.alexisparkinn.com/flight_simulator.htm
) is extremely popular. We're running FSX with Acceleration, and it's
just fabulous.

Of course kids always want to fly the F/A-18 (and I've just added an
outstanding ROCA F-16, courtesy of AvSim), but are disappointed when
they find out that they can't do air-to-air (or air-to-ground) combat.
Frankly, I am, too.

Are there any combat add-ons for FSX? If not, are there any Combat
Sims (preferably WWI and WWII) that come close to the realism of
FSX? I bought Combat Flight Simulator III, and it was so inferior
that I uninstalled it.

Thanks!

Apparently IL2 1946 is the combat sim of choice these days. Its a DVD
with all the addons included (but you still need to download one patch)

A friend of mine highly recommends it.
