First up, the ReadMe file doesn't say that. Here is what it says: "Go to your Filght Simulator 9\Aircraft folder (usually ...\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft and create a new folder called: Dreamwings Dash8 -Q400 Porter. ( Don't miss the dash (-) before the 'Q'). Unzip the contents of this file directly to the above folder. Now unzip the Gauges file found there to a temporary folder. Go there and copy all the files in the Gauges folder and paste them to your ...\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Gauges folder. Overwrite if prompted." I just downloaded it and followed the instructions, and the craft shows up under Bombardier/Dreamwings and works fine. I think the panel looks a little hoakey and you can get a 'cleaner' one here http://www.portervirtual.com/download/dash8v3.zip but it's 11mb. Open the Readme file before extracting by double clicking on the ReadMe while viewing the contents in WinZip. Also, there is a better sound file here http://www.portervirtual.com/download/newsound.zip 10mb, but worth it. Open the Readme file before extracting. BTW: If you have the great PSS Dash 8 installed, the panel from that craft works awesome with this (so does the sound), and gives you the FMS fully functional for route planning. Just copy the PSS Dash 8 panel folder over to the Dreamwings folder.
