FSX Acceleration Dual Monitors Not logged in -   Reply

Been running FSX now for about a year with dual monitors and no
problems. Bought and installed the FSX Acceleration Pack and now I
cannot drag windows (GPS, Throttle Quad, Radios, etc) to my second
monitor.

I checked under display properties under WinXP to make sure the second
monitor is still selected to extend the desktop and it is.

Any ideas?

Might be a driver issue. I run duals under XP and have no problem dragging
windows in either full screen or windowed mode. Forgive the basic question
but you *are* undocking the window in windowed mode correct?

I run Nvidia and have the monitors set up in DUAL mode - each monitor with
it's own settings rather than "extend desktop" mode. You might try that
setting, if available.

Hey Vic,

Got to mess around with the problem more this afternoon and made some
progress. I can get the dual monitors to work in windowed mode but
full screen still does not work. I agree that it's most likely a
video card problem, but what makes me mad is that everything was
working just fine (full screen and windowed mode) before installing
FSX Acceleration.

I'll keep working on the problem and post any progress or if I find a
solution.

John
