FSX Acceleration Problem Not logged in -   Reply

Hey, I have a problem after installing FSX Acceleration, when I go to free
flight and select a plane and load it, once I get to the cockpit and start to
turn the aircraft my screen goes white sometimes it will correct itself and
sometime it won’t. I uninstalled FSX and Acceleration, rebooted after each
uninstall. Re-installed FSX and SP1, I then tried the same flight w/o
Acceleration no white screen, I reinstalled Acceleration, rebooted and I also
disabled tool tips and when I try the same flight I get the white screen. If
I pan to the left or right it goes away and when I look to the front, it goes
white…Has anyone seen any post with similar problem? Any help would be
appreciated

Suspect it's a video driver issue. FSX/Acceleration do not support SLI. Have
you tried turning it off and/or switching video drivers. The 169.01 or 04
beta's seem pretty good.

Acceleration requires XP SP2.

Re: FSX Acceleration Problem [In reply to "Ian D"] Not logged in -   Reply

Guys, sorry I’m just now getting back to the forum but I was out of town for
the Holidays, Thanks for replying to my post, I appreciate your feedback and
incite. I have tried a couple differing things and the one that seemed to
work was to do a fresh install of FSX apply the SP1 on a dedicated hard
drive, I installed Acceleration and it seems to be working fine now. There
must have been something on the other hard drive that was causing the problem
because I did a fresh install a couple of times for FSX and Acceleration. So
I’m not sure what actually fixed the problem and I hate that, but sometimes
you got to do what you got to do to get things working. Again thanks for all
your feedback.

Thanks WarMonger
