The real problem with these engine surges is that controlling the EH101 in the hover becomes next to impossible (the aircraft will yaw right and then left every 10 seconds or so, which makes it so frustrating when you try to do any of the hoist missions). The only quick fix I've seen for it is to disable the rotor governor by going into the aircraft.cfg file and looking for the governor_pid line and commenting it out thus, //governor_pid = 0.25, 0, 0.9, 0.01, 0.15 Make sure you use CTRL+F4 to get the rotors up to speed if you use this fix. Maybe MS will release an SP3 to fix the bugs in the Acceleration pack. For example, has anyone noticed the awful broken wakes in the new carrier missions? And I hate the absence of decent 2D cockpits in the EH1010 and the F18 - the virtual cockpits are nice but you can hardly see the switches and displays.
