Short answer is no it will not run FSX at max settings.

There isn't a computer currently available that will do that. What you have
there will give you decent performance with most, not all, sliders in the
high medium settings.

It will run it decently but maybe not everything at max.

FSX code is lagging behind current hardware despite the recent patch SP1.

I purchased the Dell XPS 710 last February and I can run FX in max on all
sliders
When I purchased the unit, I maxed out every thing that was possible from
Dell.
I found that FX needs a very fast processor, and fast video card, I would
give you
the specs but I misplaced my order sheet. The new XPS units probably have the
specs for any gaming you want.

That system is most likely limited by your budget and how much you are
willing to spend . The more the merrier Smile

I think 8800GT-512MB is a wise choice. I'm going to build with Intel Q6600
(Quad Core) and 8800GT also ... 2GB memory should be ok, I hope I can enjoy
FSX better .. currently I'm on P4-550 (3.4GHz HT) with X850XT-256MB video
card ... not very impress
