FSX Pilot Log Not logged in -   Reply

I've got a problem with my Pilot Log. The logbook just wont record any data
from my flights, so basically I don't get my flight time recorded. Why
doesn't it work?? What can I do about it?

I'd delete the log entirely and let FSX create a new one from scratch.

I tried to delete the bin file named "logbook" in the "flight simulator X
files" located under "my documents". The result was that the log was cleared,
but when I did flights the problem wasn't fixed, so now I got myself a blank
logbook. I don't care if it contains text or not as long as it doesn't work
so the loss of data didn't break my heart. I don't know where else log files
can be found. Or if it was this you meant with "delete the log entirely".
Thanks for the help

There is only one place where the pilot log is kept - and you found it.
I meant to delete the file completely to the Recycle Bin. FSX has a
recurring problem with the logbook in that it can completely stall the
loading of FSX from time to time. I can't say why your flights are not
being logged. A flight from one airport to another should be logged.
