FSX SP1 Aceleration Activation Error

FSX SP1 Aceleration Activation Error Not logged in -   Reply 
i just recently purchased FSX Acceleration and cant get it to activate.
Tried online and by phone but still no luck. tried regedit and upperfilters
says Partmgr. Tried calling tech support and still have problems; even
exchanged for another copy but still have problem. i enter product id and
says activation sucsessfull but started fsx and no multiplayer option. can
any one help?

I have the same problem. I have tried MS with no positive results. Have you
fixed it yet?

No not yet; still trying to work it out. I think it might be a problem with
vista not fsx.

I was told that if I have a Vista problem it is probably due to the fact that
I have an upgrade from XP and not a "clean install". I guess the fact that
it says on the box that it is for uprading XP was BS.

That might be BS; but imy case i purchased a new computer with Vist Home
Premium on a clean install. I went on Miscrosft.com and found some updates
that said it would mae Vista more compatible with software issues. I will
try to install Acceleration now and let you know.

I ran out of ideas. Have you had any luck with the VISTA updates?

No they didn't work. I think MS needs to make sure things work on their
products before they release them. Maybe then people would'nt feel like they
wasted money.

I'm in the same boat. Any updates? I keep registering the product key - it
continues to accept it, then I have to do it all over again.

MS's anti-piracy efforts are probably costing them more in tech support. Smile

i fixed my problem, i had that RAID program activated and it was
interferring with Acceleration. I had the RAID deactivated and all works
well for now.

So in order to install the update you must decrease your hdd space/security
and deactivate RAID? That sounds like BS
