FSX SP2 Lack of ATC and Pilot voice

Since I have downloaded SP1 and SP2 I have been unable to contact the ATC.
There is no pilot voice or ATC voice and there is no text readable in the ATC
box. It was suggested that by loadind FDC Live Cockpit that this would over
come the problem...but it hasn't. The Live Cockpit voices are fine but there
is no contact with the ATC.
