Hi, I know tjis is an old post and I dont know if you got your answer. But that is something that is built in to the individual aircraft simulation itself. If you owned any of the addon heavies such as the PMDG 737 or 747, you would hear such callouts. You will not hear them in the FS2004 stock aircraft. Also remember that you dont have a co-pilot either, so it is a good practice to call out these altitudes to yourself as you are coming in for landing. Just make sure that you reset your altimeter by pressing the "b" key when you start your desent as the QNH at your destination may be different than it was at your point of departure. That is why you hear the in game ATC tell you something like "Altimeter three, zero, zero, six". Wehn you took off the ATC may have told you "two, niner, niner, two". Hope that helps, and happy landings. Boogie Boogie Capt, 31st Fighter Group www.31stfg.com IL-2 & AEP Squadron Excellent training program and lots of fun!!!
