Help ! How do you install a PFC yoke in FS2004? Not logged in -   Reply

Newbie with new toys question:

I have a PFC "Beech" style yoke. In the box were instructions to plug the USB cable in to a running computer. The computer should recognize the hardware, download the drivers, and report "successfully installed". When I plug it in, I get a message, hardware not recognized. In Device Manager, the USB port is labeled, Unknown Device. I have been to the www.flypfc website, and they have a download for a dll file as well as a part of FSUIPC for their hardware. I downloaded it, ran it, and it installed in the Modules folder of FS2004 in the C drive. How do I proceed?

I have the Cirrus rudder pedals as well, and they were "plug-n-play". As soon as I plugged them in, a couple of screens, and I got the "successfully installed" message.

I've seen a lot of forum posts re. these yokes, they were all good, but not one about the installation. I know that there is probably something simple I'm not doing.

Can someone help me, please? Thanks in advance,

Jeff
