Hey y'all,

I live in Ottawa, Ontario and at the airport there is the main airport (International) with runways 07-25 and 14-32; and there is the north field runway 04-22. In FS9, you cannot get permission from the tower to land a small, single engine aircraft on runway 04-22. I would like to know how to change that. Is there anyone out there that could tell me where and how to change the programming so that the tower gives only single engine aircraft (and some small twin engines) permission to land on runway 04-22?

I believe that you may want to find updated AFCAD files for that airport. you can try to do a seach for them and install them. There are many airports in FS with similar probems where the in game ATC does not use these runways. Also be aware that at all times and whenever possible you should be landing those small planes into the wind. Or at least as much as possible. You may also try manually changing the wind direction in your game to see if that might get the ATC to vector you to that runway that you want, but i dont think it will help.
