My Vista crashed and instead of And when you get the screen about partitions, don't forget to suppress your c:\ partition (old Vista partition) then recreate a new one and format it. Anyway, I've seen you have a 35GB Raptor as system disk. Vista Home Premium alone is a 25 GB installation, (70% of your disk), by default Vista uses c:\ for its swap file, that's a 2048/4096 MB file, so your system disk is, with only your clean Vista installation, full at 85%. In these conditions, it's perfectly understandable that Vista crashes with a lot of problem. For Vista, the minimum system disk or partition is well over 75/80 GB. For WXP, your Raptor 35 GB is just sufficient. Hope this helps Another Pierre LFBE
