Sometimes with WinZip, extracting with folders can produce too many and these get in the way, preventing FS9 (FS2004) "seeing" the aircraft. Make sure that you only have a folder path which is Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\Dash 8-Q400 which should contain folders for Model, Panel, Sound, Texture(s) (depending on how many liveries, each one having a different extension) as referenced in the aircraft.cfg file which should also be in the Dash 8 folder along with the .air file. Are you looking on the list for the right thing? It might not show up as a Dash 8, it depends what has been entered on the cfg file against "ui manufacturer". It might be under Bombardier, the RL manufacturer or it might be entered as the software supplier - annoying I know but it happens regularly. It might be listed as Canadair (taken over by Bombardier). Incidentally, in FS9 it is possible to have the gauges folder *contents* placed in the panel folder and many people prefer to do this as it means that if they uninstall the aircraft, getting rid of unwanted gauges is easier. If the aircraft is definitely not showing at all then the most likely cause is that the folder structure is incorrect. If *could* also be an error in the cfg file but if you haven't messed with it that is unlikely. Let us know if none of the above has worked. Iain
