Hello all,

I recently resurrected my flight sims, and have noticed that my Hotas Cougar
is malfunctioning. I have the Real Simulator Pressure Driven FSSB R1
hardware mod, and the Y axis cannot be seen by either Direct X or by the
Foxy joystick analyser. There are no links on the Realsimulator site for
help, so, I was wondering if anyone here can help me out?

Hey Carl,

You'll probably have better luck, especially with the mod you have, posting
on the forums at Cougar World, if you have not yet.

Good luck,

I have a replacement main PCB on the way, and managed to get in touch with
Realsimulator, who replies a couple of hours after I emailed their sales
department. I am content to let the investigation wait until after I get the
new PCB, I broke the bit where the throttle plugs in, I want that to be
secure so that I can rely on the results from the Foxy analyser, and am
heading off out later to purchase some small wire strippers and stuff, so I
can be sure that all connections are 100%. (I noticed that my throttle was
not reporting correctly going from half to minimum power- further
investigation revealed that my earlier cack-handed attempts were at fault).
Of course, it could be the driver at fault, but as I haven't got an XP 32bit
PC anymore, I guess I will never be able to check both sets of drivers.
Well, now, off to Cougarworld I shall browse!

I cannot register with the forum, thanks to no ISP email address! Bollocks.
