I've grown attached to my old USB Thrustmaster Topgun joystick circa 1999. However, the hat switch has only 4 positions as opposed to the newer joysticks with 6 and 8. I am using FS2004 and in the 2D cockpit I want to make the left and right hatswitch positions show the left and right forward views of the 2D cockpit instead of the left and right views which shows the side cockpit windows. I tried to change view assignments in FS2004 and that didn't work. I also went into FScofig and attempted to make the changes but that didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, if its only a 4 position hat switch, you cvant make it act like an 8 position hat, You might just try flying from the VC, sorry i cant be of more help. X-52's are pretty cheap.
