Thanks for the quick response....here's some more info. The program is FMS Flight Simulator. I want to mention my older computer has a game card in it and the flight simulator plugs into the game card via game port. I purchased a game port to USB adapter for my newer computer but since I cannot select any of the other devices, I didn't think it was a hardware problem. Here is the exact error, "Your Game Port or Game Port Drivers are not properly configured. Pls consult your Device Manager." If I go to System/Game Controller, it shows "USB Controller OK" but I can't change it to one of the twenty other devices available. When I look in the Device Manager, I don't even see "USB Controller", just Human Interface Device - USB Human Interface Device. I would have thought there would have been a "Game Controller" under the "System Devices" but there isn't any. I'm still puzzled.
