Has anyone tried the new FS Traffic 2002? If so is it any good i.e. worth
paying GBP 25 for?

Thanks

Iain

If you are thinking of going "payware" then Flight 1 will soon be releasing
their "Ultimate Traffic" in early May.(30$/euros approx)

It will have something like 400,000 flight plans. 40 PAI a/c models and
include *all* world airlines that publish schedules.

It looks as if it's going to be a bit special.

| Ah! I got an e-mail from Just Flight saying it was available and in stock
so
| I assumed someone might have tried it. I tried Project AI but couldn't get
| it to work after many time wasting attempts. It just struck me that
| something I paid for just might be a bit better (fool that I am!) :0)

If you download 'PAI Installer v1.19d.zip' from the PAI site, an
instruction doc is included.

Hi Bob,

I can't comment on FSTraffic, don't have it but I do have MyTraffic and beta
Ultimate Traffic. Although you can "physically" fly the AI aircraft they do
not fly well.

AFAIK all AI a/c have to have dedicated .cfg files to enable them to perform
as AI models which renders them poor as flyable versions.

Just wondered........... does "FS Traffic 2002" suggest this use or is it
just that they will load as flyable.

Also do you know if "FS Traffic 2002" uses the PAI models under license or
do they have their own versions.

Thx,
Martin

You know Martin, I may have confused "FS Traffic 2002" with "Ultimate Traffic"
being released by Flight 1 Software, http://flight1.com

They are definitely using PAI a/c, although modified to use their proprietary
"Text-O-Matic" for repaint installation...

That makes a total of THREE separate companies offering a "commercial" AI
traffic "package!" <sheesh!>

Ah right Bill.

I know about UT it was just with Bob saying the aircraft in "FS Traffic
2002" were flyable I wondered what models they were.
