Hi,
I'm trying to find some new features that will be contained in MAI tower.

I've looked over the website and the only really new features I see are new aircraft performance and new wind simulator.

Is that really worth $40? What else comes with the new sim?

There are no other tower cab simulators out there yet. So the question is a moot point. Ive been waiting for an updated "Tower" for years and I for one am tickled....Whatever the price......

Yeah, well I for one think this is a large improvement over the old tower so its ok. I think $40 is a bit much at the moment, b/c I know pretty much nothing about features and such. I think it would help if Jestuv or Mikal would actually sit down for 10 min. and write out a nice post explaining what they did to improve the game, features, things you would like answered and stuff. They were doing so well for a while, and now things are starting to turn into the atmosphere over at ATCC when Chris Coon wasn't answering anyones questions, but now that he's bugged by people so much he answers questions on a daily basis now. Mikal should asume the same role and answer questions as soon as they are posted.

It's ironic, but trust me, the moment you start updating your progress people start demanding a release date. Mikal (Michael) the Tower programmer has more than 4 years working on this project and he announced a release like 4 or 5 months ago.

Why something like this takes long? simply because he's a PROGRAMMER. Not a marketing guy, not a lawyer, not a sales man. So there were a LOT of things not covered. Like, the most obvious one. He approached us to have Tower distributed and he did NOT have a lawyer. So, I completely understand he's overwhelmed now. But guys, I also understand ALL of you, if not I would not be writing this post right now. I'll be installing hurricane shutters and boarding my house preparing for Frances.

Mikal called me last week and apologized for the delay, he was ASKING me to clarify some things in the contract. Then, he was having a hard time talking to the lawyer, etc etc. I doubt he'll keep you all updated on this kind of things, they are personal business matters. What's the objective? To deliver a hassle free, clean, tested and good product. Unfortunately, it's NOT an easy task.

I'm not concerned with the release date. I'm not saying that I'm not going to pay $40. I just want to know what's going to be included in the game. What I see on the page isn't worth $40 to me. The only new things I see are new winds and a/c performance. Can someone please give me a straight answer?

Jestuv,

Thanks for the reply. That's all we really want to have someone there to take questions. It's alot more reassuring then sitting and wondering what's going. Noone is getting mad at you or Mikal or anything, it's just a matter of good relations and good feedback that is wanted. Thanks for the time. Keep up the good work and the good feedback. We appreciate it.

my point exactly. im not getting mad or anything. i just see an atc game for $40 but not very many screenshots or updates so i ask for some.
