No 5.1 Sound using FSX with Vista

Dear FSX Discussion Team,
do anybody have some information if the FSX can send 5.1 sound in
combination with Vista ? Is there an special configuration out of the FSX
sound menu ?
I tested two different sound cards, both with the newest drivers for Vista.
Both are working with 5.1 sound if I use the sound cardtest menu.
The FSX only send 2.1 sound to the amplifier.
Under WinXP there was everything OK 
- FSX with Vista and Direct X10
- Acceleration Pack (German version) installed
- Soundcard 1: Realtek HD Audio
- Soundcard 2: Aureon 5.1 Fun
- Optical connection S/PDIF
