Well this is not a E-Mail filter, but intended for Usenet/Newsgroups, and
other discussion/debate forums, like this one :o/
Eaven if we do get to see the occasional spammer, troll, etc., I would still
hate to have others deciding for me, who gets to post, and who doesn't, or
is that because we are a litle spoiled in here, and in the other NG's I
attend, that I don't see those nobrainers, as a problem?

There is indeed, but as long as someone can make a buck or two, there will
be Spam, adds, and Jehovas Vitneses.
