Dude, I've done precisely this with my 8800GTX's and they sing beautifully. The neat thing about modding the bios is that you can control the shader clocks in older forceware versions. You can do this in rivatuner 2.06 for some of the newer versions, but it's a bit twichy. I've had very good luck with determining my best oc, then setting it in the gpu's bios so that it will boot to those settings. Very Simple, easy, and reliable.
