I've got a real problem with my 747 (and in fact with all major aircrafts in FS 2004)
When I'm flying horizontally (eg. cruising altitude) with autopilot turned on, the aircraft actually DOES not have a horizontal position but it's nose is upbound about 5 degrees. (while the autopilot manages to keep the desired altitude.) I suppose there must be something wrong with my rudder settings. Can anybody help? It's urgent!

Draci,

Don't be alarmed, the pitch up at cuising altitude is completely normal, this is related to the wing incidence and the fact that the plane needs flow of air under the wings, and the small pitch up is required for this to happen. This is true for almost every airplane.

Your concern is regulary discussed in forums once in a while

Hi Draci,

Normal pitch up attitude in cruise is 2-4 degrees for almost every well-known large airliner.

However, you will find that in FS2004 many jets designed specifically for it will swim nose a bit TOO high. As jaltuve pointed out, this issue is regularly discussed, and the changes MS made in FS2004 flight dynamics SOMEHOW made it more difficult to get right flight performance and correct pitch attitude in cruise.
