Proflight Emulator Deluxe

I recently purchased Proflight Emulator Deluxe. I installed it into FS9. I was able to compile a flight plan without too much difficulty. My question is How do you get PFE to recognize airline callsigns that did not come with the original FS9 program. I use airlines like Allegheny and Empire etc. I cannot get ATC to recognize them on the radio. Any suggestions?
