I love 3d cockpits - the really good ones that is. It just gives you a much better feeling of 'being there' especially if you also run active Camera Pro. But I don't do much airliner flying, I prefer planes like the Carenado Dakota and Bonanza, Valmet Vinka (really excellent before it was removed), all Bill Lyons' planes, Aero Commander (Milton Shupe), Falcon 50, Twin Otter (Dantes/Illanes) -all with excellent virtual cockpits. And there's nothing better than seeing a propeller spinning in front of you (unless you're in a 767).
