Thanks to you and Ed for the suggestions but still no luck. I made sure that the config file (and folder in which it resided) were gone before reinstalling. After reinstalling, I checked for the proper URL and port lines. The lines were present and correct. I did load 2004 on another computer that is on my network and the internet features worked fine. Both computers go through the same router and access the internet with the same high-speed modem. Any other ideas?
