It may not be a good idea to backup the complete FS installation and just restore it to the new system. It should work - at least in places, but you should expect some strangeness. What I would do, is that I would uninstall FS and direct the installer to keep your personal files, doing this removes the simulator, but the complete structure of the installation will be intact together with your planes and stuff. Now, backup the entire Directory Tree (Folder Structure!) of the installation together with the FS files in the Documents and Settings folder. On the new system, install the simulator in the normal fashion, and then restore your backup! This should give you less of a head-ache. Tony. . .
