Hi all, bit new round here. In searching for an update for the BAO Tower to try and get it to work on XP I found this site which means an upgrade on the way and was very happy!!
Spent many hours on the old Tower and its great!

Anyway, just wondering about a release date, I think I saw a post stating end of May, although the post was dated in March and its kinda end of May now so is this date still valid or will it be a few more weeks yet?

Just spotted this today. Curious about the release, also. Played BAO Tower quite a bit. Fun, but lacking in some areas. This should be a welcome new Tower sim.

Hey, what is the status of the release? ATCC is claiming end of July on their release but they give no word on anything anymore. What is the word on MAI-Tower? can we get an exact date? End of July is only 11 days away.

The dated will be posted Very soon. We are just in the the final stages of Beta tesing it, so that is user friendly for Web download. Also More screen shots will be posted this week.

Being the weekend now, does that mean the new pictures will be up this weekend? I also wanted to point out that ATCC v2 is now on the one week to go countdown but still no word from developers about release or pre-ordering. You already are taking pre-orders which is miles ahead of them as far as we know. Please keep us informed more often; we buyers need to see progress in front of us.

Is the creator of this product still alive out there? Haven't heard (seen) a post from you in a while now. ATCC head man just posted today about their status, it'd be nice to see your update now too. They pushed back till Sept., are you going to release before then? July was the release right? when? Can you please reply with info and put up the screenshots you spoke of earlier?

Just a clarification...

Simradar provides the space (forums) and e-Commerce infraestructure for the developer.

The MAI Tower developer is just making use of simradar's services.

You can contact the author directly by sending him a private message using the userid mikal

I've been contacted by the developer to sign the agreement to sell the product on our store, so it is definetly a very short period of time till we see the finished product. Just be patient, Michael also told me he was sending some screenshots, let's wait for him... maybe he's busy with some final touches.

I've tried contacting him via private messages. Either something is very wrong or he's just the kind of developer that gets in a basement non stop for days. I really don't know. I wish I could give you guys more info.

In the past mikal has regularly answered all my questions, he never has taken so long to respond, just let's hope nothing is wrong with him.

Jose,

I understand what you mean.....but if you looked over at ATCC's forum about the v2 release, you'll see how frustrated and upset everyone got w/ Chris Coon when his "JULY" release questions were not being answered. I could have sworn that this guy Mikal said 'july' realse as well and since it is now August 1st, I'm wondering what the deal is. He promised screen shots last weekend on an updated webpage, but it's still the same ol same ol. For a product such as MAI-Tower and is being eagerly waited for an even has people on a pre-order list, him not repsonding about his product is sending negative signals to us buyers.

OK, this is getting rediculous. How is this guy around all the time, then disappears for over a week (almost 2) w/o a single word about anything going on with the sim? This is absolutely poor customer service, especially when the sim was supposed to be out and in our hands by now. We're sitting here in the dark wondering what is going on. Granted Chris Coon @ Xavius popped up one day and announced a delay, but at least he did it before his previously announced deadline had passed. This guy Mikal has fallen off the face of the earth with no word to us. I've been waiting for a long time for this game, and now im stuck wondering what is up. This is not the way you treat valuable paying customers.

Michael sent a message to forums@simradar.com (the forum administrator email address) which I happen to read. He sent the email there as if he were posting a message to the forum, he apologized and stated family problems (He explicitly said: an emergency).

Guys, as the administrator for this forums I'm the last person in the world that would like this to get out of control. No posts are deleted, good or bad, so discussions are kept open and 100% transparent.

I don't know the reasons for Michael not posting for almost two weeks, and there's no reason for him not to contact us, since we (simradar) are the ones publishing (distributing) his software.

If this was a family emergency then, I hope eveything is fine, and although people is a bit frustrated I suggest you give the guy a chance.

Here's Michael's login id track. As you can see, he last logged in today at 2:00AM. I've been checking this for the past 2 weeks and it kept showing July 21. So he definitely was NOT accesing this forums.
