Smoking Tires on Flight Sim. X w/ Acceleration Pack Not logged in -   Reply

Since I installed the Acceleration pack I have a problem where it looks like
my tires are smoking when I taxi. This happens with all of the planes. Does
anyone have any ideas about this?

Not smoke, just snow - change to summer time and it will go away.

Vic and Grand_Poobah thanks for your help. That was what the problem was. I
didn't even think of that since the weather was clear and so was the runway.
After changing to summer the issue was gone.

Forgot about that - what gets me is when something hiccups and the 'plume'
is about 3 feet above the tarmac! Doesn't happen often but it does happen.

I have an even better one: I took off from a snowy airport in Colorado
at about 6800ft. As I was watching behind me, a trail of snow was
flying right up behind me! When I went into trailing plane view and
looked down on the ground, a trail of snow was racing across the
countryside below me. What fun!
