Hi!

First i want to say that this new version looks really great, and I've played the old BAO version for hundreds, if not thousands of hour, and I'm still playing.

But one feauture I really misses is the possibility to assign taxiways for taxiing aircrafts. At least for example at O'Hare to assign outter and inner circle for aircrafts going right/left

Well, regarding taxiway assignments…

From the time the game starts things progress very quickly. You will have several commands that you will be issuing every 30seconds. What I have done to make things easier, so that you are not always typing--- UAL taxi, RWY32L, via, outer A7, T, T10…
I went ahead and rerouted the taxi lanes so that aircraft AI will travel a smarter path to the assigned runway or gate, to avoid aircraft running into each other. Also I have set real world Recommended Landing and Departure Plans the work along with Taxi AI. For Example “Plan X” ILS 4R, (if it gets busy have the extra aircraft report base or downwind to 9R or 9L. Departing runways 32L, 32R, 4L, 9L. This will automatically keep landing aircraft going one way to the gates and departing aircraft a whole separate way to the assigned runway. Now you do know after an aircraft lands, or taxis out of the gate you can have them hold at a hold point. For Example taxi runway 4L hold short A4. Also I have enhanced several other things for ground control AI… (Ground Metering) If there numerous aircraft on the taxiway and you give a command to taxi to a departure runway. The aircraft will read ahead and hold short AUTOMATICALY at certain points on its taxi route and check in with the Tower, and wait for your command to taxi continue. This also helps with congestion. I can keep on going on and on, but for now I hope this answers you question(s).

Mikal, I have noticed that you have not been on in quite some time, you die or something? Anyway, as an avid user of BAO Tower, I have noticed a hellova problem with the Chicago map, as the starter of this topic pointed out the left and right half circle around the gates. At the real ohare airport in chicago, inner goes right, and outer goes left. I play with a ratio of 4 planes every 3 minutes, so I have a lot of congestion going on and can officially deem O'hare worthless unless there is taxiway assigning, because of the congestion I have it on sort of a stoplight system, I have a queue on either side, let 5 planes go at a time, left, then five right. This causes severe backups that pour onto the runways causing missed approaches. Any file you can email me (sneako@sneako.com) that would fix this would be great, i've fiddled with all the files and nothing seems to fix this. Also, as far as I can tell the MAI tower screenshots are identical to the BAO ones, what did you change? just commands and infastructure internally? I would greatly appreciate this one fix, THANK YOU
