I am trying to connect to VATSIM with fsx. It requires fsinn and fscopilot
to work. On their panels they show an "Add-on" tab included with the "alt"
menu at the top of the free flight screen, which is necessary to run those
other packages concurrently. Mine doesn' t have it. Is that tab an actual
add-on software package for fsx, or is it something I didnt install initially?

p.s. I would be especially interested in speaking with someone who also
connects to VATSIM.
Thanks!
Marty

I connect to vatsim with FSX and vista OS. With vista extra steps are
needed because of that cursed UAC thingy Smile XP is pretty straight forward.

Anyway I would suggest the vatsim forum as your best place for help

http://forums.vatsim.net/

Also of course the developers forum here

http://www.mcdu.com/forum/

Hi Marty,
I have both FS2004 and FSX installed on my PC (Win XP) and use FSInn to
connect to VATSIM. To use FSInn with FSX you need to instal FSCopilot
1.7beta2 and FSInn 1.3beta2 as previous versions are not working with FSX. I
also have FSUIPC4 installed in FSX and have no problems with running
FSCopilot and FSInn.

Thank you....I will try those two again. They caused problems with FSX
recognizing time of day. I'll reinstall.
