Hi,
depending of your OS !
Try search file FsX.cfg ( enable "show hiden file " )
in XP : ?:\Documents and Settings\"Your Name"\Application
Data\Microsoft\FS9\
in Vista: ?:\Users\"Your Name"\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9\

Alex:

FSX.CFG wouldn't be found in the FS9 folder - change the ID to FSX
instead of FS9.

Jamie
I had similar problem, don't know if it's the same though. I spent a couple
of hours with Microsoft tech support on the phone and we tried everything.
One suggestion was to completely re-format my system i.e. re-install windows
X.P. or they were willing on giving me a refund. Since I had to completely
clean my system anyways, I reformated my c: and re-installed XP. It's WORKING
FINE NOW! A pain in the butt but it is working.......something to do with the
registry
