The Microsoft FSsimteam are reading this newsgroup, I know.
After installing the traffictoolbox I put the map with the traffic on my
right screen.
This is only possible in windowed mode and not in fullscreen.
If I try this in full screen the FSXprog is crashing.
Please correct this in SP2.

For Acceleration you have to pay.
Why should we have to pay for their mistakes in FSX.?
This is a kind of arrogance of the boys that makes me vomit.
Their concentration on better scenery, so that we can see the
rats in the houses behind the floor is shocking.
By the way...escaping in an airbus(!) outof Quantanamo is impossible
and you know why?
Elephants are blocking the runway....that is FSX.

You pay for the add on that is Acceleration, only if you want it.
They included the final SP2 code with it.
SP2 will be available for download, free of charge.

I am getting SOOOOoooooo tired of people making completely unfounded idiotic
statements like that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and their
opinion only - Add the phrase "ON MY SYSTEM" and you(generic) will be
correct. Made a big positive difference on my system and I couldn't be
happier. The changes on my Vista system were not nearly as dramatic, enough
difference that I'm staying with my XP system for now.

I love Acceleration and the extra goodies it has - don't want it? Think SP2
is a disaster? - Good - shut up and go sit in a corner. You might also TRY
it and not rely on anyone elses opinions but your own.

Sheesh!

I try to get opinions about lots of things but special about sp2.
My overall opinion about fsx is changing now above 40 framerates, after a
long struggle with my machine...dualcore, 2gig ram.
What so nice is about fsx is that flying airbuses gives me 10 frames more
(thanks Billy)
That high framerate give me now possibilities for addons like my traffic.

And so became this old man again a fan of microsoft....with fsx.
Last year I had a fight with the Dutch direction of Microsoft.
They declared me illegal without reason and I won that fight.
Now I have a directionspecimen of XP (kind of gold medal)

Hel-lo Pieter.. one time I reply to your post with `tube / not tube´ and
you were annoyed. Recall that? You refer to Quilljar as old man? well
he's mid 70's age. There are only a few in the group older, Wim D. being
one of them. One guy Bravo Tango was 79 at last report and is 80's now
in all likelihood. You have XP gold medal and hold rituals chanting
`billy´.. and site vaccine program to hold earth population at some
level in the thousands of millions? I must remark about Indians.. you
refer to native Americans? They are all concentrated in reservations
scattered in midwest and western America. You know what the Mexican
looks like? You also know what Eskimo looks like? Well that's what
native American looks like, although ethnically cleansed from the land
by Europeans headed up by the likes of Sir Francis Bacon and his ilk.
As for FSX.. it seem less like a game and more like one big technical
project for gentlemen around world in the 50 to 70 age bracket. I'm far
too busy to put in the time and recourses needed to get FSX working like
a champ. But there will be next year, and the next version of FS, and
the next PC hardware... (won't there?)

Hi Greg,

Smoke me, mate!!!!

I remember the last time pb came onto this n/g.

Times were very different for me then, and I treated him very
differently than I'm going to this time.

I went to extraordinary lengths last time, to try and ensure that a
human being wasn't suffering......

This time, I'm smarter - pb, what's your current story/situation, mate,
now that you've suddenly re-appeared on this n/g??

Better to be pissed off than pissed on.

And aren't you doing the same thing that you accuse me of? It's ok for you
but not for me?

> Believe me, no one here cares a damn about what pisses you off.

And this is important to me, how? You see, unlike you, I don't need approval

I am entitled to my opinion and you are entitled to yours.

Troppo1 -

You said -

>wont make any difference, SP2 is already a disaster for FSX. wont be
>getting near my pc for quite a while.

This is what I responded to - sorry if you feel it was personal - not
intended.

In the context in which you wrote - you are incorrect - SP2 is not a
disaster for FSX and, as far as Acceleration is concerned, they have sold a
ton and, by and large, people are happy. Some. like yourself have issues.
Some, like myself have issues with the Vista version but in neither case
does this make it a disaster. As far as whether it's a "success" or not is
up to the individual user and the bean counters at Microsoft.
