I don't believe it will come out ever. If it comes out , I will not buy
anything
from this guy who is ignoring his customers shamelessly.

Well, if it DOES come out, then he's not ignoring his customers, is he?

Are you not aware that the author of FSNavigator was very seriously injured
in an auto accident a couple of years ago? He almost died. Who knows how
that may still affect him? Plus, writing FS add-ons is not his full-time
occupation - He may not have the time or opportunity to upgrade FSNav to be
compatible with FSX. If he eventually does so, I'll certainly be among the
first to buy it, but if not, so be it. The author certainly doe not "owe"
an FSX-compatible version to you or anyone else.

True but he does OWE a response to just ONE of the many emails sent to him
inquiring not only to his health but to the state of FSNAV. He has not
rresponded to one, or has he posted on his support forum. Not even the
courtesy of saying that there will be no more FSNAV.

That he does owe to his loyal customers.

It just a matter of politeness and such a easy task to inform your customers
in 2 words
on his website about the status of this programm. Instead , the promisse
that it will be
out half 2007 is still standing there.

The fact that he was almost dying is no reason for this unbehaviour. He did
accept the
money for his programm years after this accident , didn't he ?

No , I won't buy or even won't install anything of this guy even when it was
for free.

I am not sure that 'politeness' is really your expertise Henk...
Just wait, and think before you speak...that is one of the great benefits of
usenet.

Yo Henk,

Please, be the liberal Dutchman as the world knows us to be! Speak out, be
direct and straight forward, but keep it polite.
I truly think this was out of line, sorry. And no, I am not countering your
opinion.

flightsim commander 8.2

Intellivibe guarantees you better Vibrations sitting in the cockpit / racecar ..
FS-GS guarantees you better Frame Rates for a lot less than a costly upgrade ..

I believe it was the great Will Rogers who once wrote . . . " it is better
to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." (read
that: post a thoughtless comment in a newsgroup and remove all doubt)
It is the complaining of thankless people, that causes skillful and talented
developers to stop doing their thing, Mike Stone being an excellent example.
I am thankful for the years that I have enjoyed FSNav and continue to use it
daily. It is the number 1 add-on for flight sim in my opinion.

I don't understand the complaint that he is not supporting his product for
FSX. FSX is a new animal in the MSFS series. I don't see complaints
regarding commercially designed aircraft or scenery for an earlier
incarnation of MSFS not being carried forward to FSX.
It should be remembered that FSNavigator was initially free with FS98 (I
think) then went commercial and was essentially upgraded FOR FREE between
incarnations of MSFS. We have had great value from the progammer thus far,
if he decides whether or not to extend his program into FSX then that is his
prorogative (sp?). Nothing lasts for ever. I bought my licence to use it in
2001 and have 6 years of use so far ( I still use FS9), not a bad return
when compared to other things I have paid for.
BTW I have no connection with the programmer nor the program, I blv we
should give him some slack for a great product and a job well done. End of
rant.
Oh no its not......................... I have seen on other forums, damning
complaints re Lee Swordy not upgrading his AFCAD program for FSX ...... and
that was FREE.
Sheesh
That's the end of my rant proper.
