Shocked

This will the third try at "flying" in a sim in twenty-some years, and I'm just getting going with FS2002. I got it for pocket change at some discount place like Wal-Mart; it wasn't Big Lots. I've never seen any computer ware at the Big Lots near me.

If there is a second one, maybe we can work a deal, but I hate spending money I mostly don't have (retired on a pittance!) Right now, I was visiting this forum looking for a fix to MP9. It won't run the internal video segments in the game.

All I get is the video. When I installed FS2002, it wanted to install MP6 -- seems it doesn't understand that time passes and new versions come along!

Frown Ah, well! Might've guessed it was being handled via a back-channel route if so many days had already passed without any reply at all though open forum type channels!

This is already a third try for me at "flying" in a sim in twenty-some years, and I'm just getting going with FS2002. I got it for pocket change at some discount place like Wal-Mart; it wasn't Big Lots. I had never seen any computer ware at the Big Lots near me until later today, after I originally answered.

Right now, I was visiting this forum looking for a fix to MP9. It won't run the internal video ("movie") segments in the game. All I get is the audio. When I installed FS2002, it wanted to install MP7.1 -- seems it doesn't understand that time passes and new versions come along!

I've left queries at MS' own site and I've tried to run that MP7.1 install (it failed). What I'll be trying next is running the MP9 install a second time, to see if that triggers anything in FS2002.

Smile
